Just returned from British Car day at Larz Anderson Auto Museum. HJB800 was the only Minor. People were very interested in the car and it got rave reviews!

The highlight of the day (my grandson):

This Jaguar Bristol was truly well done!

I loved these three Morgans only because I had worked on Morgans in the past.

This Jaguar was one of my Favs!

Compared to last year the turnout was small but there were a good number of cars. It rained for a portion of the day but that's to be expected when British cars gather.

Not bad looking for 58 years old and un-restored, eh? (THE CAR!!!!!)

'twas a great day! Thank you.

I've owned the car since 1984 (may be 1983??) The car was imported from England in 1981. The car is original and un-restored. It has an Alta OHV alloy cylinder head on the sidevalve engine.

Today was real test of the car and the new engine. Going to the museum I was conservative and took less used roads through Boston, MA to Brookline. A total of 23 miles (sorry you have to math-out kilometers). On the way home it was ""bells" to the fire! The car performed flawlessly! Believe me! Boston traffic on the Expressway (even on Sunday) is a challenge!. A R/Royce owner who left before me was in my rear view mirror about two miles from home! WOOO HOOOO! He DID blow past me though!
