Windscreen wiper placement in Series Minor

Post by dp »

I was looking at this thread:

http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=32864

Linking to this car for sale in Oz:

http://www.carsales.com.au/Tig/UI/PageP ... allcarhome

and noticed that the wiper motor wasn't on the nearside inner wing. Is this normal for Series Minors? If so, where does the motor live?

Sorry to correct you but on a Series MM/early Series 11 it is behind the instrument panel on the right hand side and is a bit of a pig to get at!

If you are driving a RHD car then it is in front of you.
The Mazengarb Minor. It was for sale a year ago, looks like it is on the market again. I just missed seeing it last year, in the wrong city at the wrong time. There is a write up on the Series MM website under Features
