I haven't been around here much lately, I've been too bussy with my ADO16, the minor is travelling along well though I need to replace a couple of bushes, as is always the way. The ADO always makes me appreciate the sturdy engineering in the MM. Ausitn may brought along tehcnological advances but the MM has an appreciable quality I cant put my finger on. Apparently when the national rally las came to Suth Australia one bloke had a 1000 with a MM gearbox, because he just prefered them.

Just saw this and thought that it looked interesting. The head converstion looks unusual, it almost looks as though it uses the original head. I cant see the exhaust in the normal spot either. Surely one of you aussie MM go fast gurus can set me straight .

The car has a Mazengarb OHV conversion, the Aussie equivilent of the British Alta conversion. The car was for sale in Sydney, March last year, I missed seeing it as I had left Sydney for Melbourne when I saw the advert.
