That depends on the year of the Minor in question, Timmo -- earlier 1000s, up to (someone correct me if I'm wrong) the redesign in September 1962, had a 110° angle-of-wipe. The 150° angle is only on 1000s after '62.

I don't believe that a smaller angle of wipe than works for your car would be damaging. Might be annoyingly ineffective in a downpour. But if your Morris is pre-'62, then the 120° motor could damage the wipers, the cable, and the body around the wipers, not to mention the new motor itself.

yes you can modify the 1 speed wiper wheel to fit the 2 speed wipers, but you will need a few bits and pieces from the 2 speed wheel to make the swap.

if you do decide to sell them on ebay.. advertise them as being suitable for MG / Triumph etc but inform them they will need to swap the wheels over... why? I recently purchased a brand new old stock 2 speed ital motor for 5.50! which is less than 2nd hand MG ones go for and yes the bodies are all the same.

It depends on the year of the Morris on what the set up is on the motor.
Gear wheels range from 95° to 175° and go in 5° increments.
The gear size and number of teeth varies with different cars.
Morris Minor had 3 changes At least that is what the book I read had stated -
I have not looked at all the motors to check the facts. Here is there reference says.

1. Morris Minor from 1948 to 1956 uses a gear wheel with 46 teeth and uses 110°.
2. Morris Minor from 1957 to 1962 uses a gear wheel with 46 teeth and uses 100°.
3. Morris Minor from 1963 to 1972 uses a gear wheel with 46 teeth and uses 150°.

So be sure to get the correct motor for your year car or the wipers will never be correct.
They will either go off the side or hit the bottom possibly going off the bottom.
This can burn out the motor - damage the wiper or car in different ways. In short a bad idea.
I think that answers the question some one asked about their spit screen using a later wiper motor.

Yes you can interchange the gear wheels. I have seen people do this to 2-speed motors.
They swap the Morris gear on to the two-speed motor to make it correct for their vehicle.
This takes some adjustments to get it correct. I do not want to go into it on this post.
It gets very technical and confusing to explain what to do to adjust it.

I would like to add to make it clear ( because it is not to me )..

2 speed wiper wheels can be swapped between the 2 speed wiper motors without problems.

a single speed wiper wheel will not fit a 2 speed motor without being modified..
