Hi all

I am looking at getting a maniflow exhaust system for my 1970 traveller.
They have two models, a small bore and a 1275 large bore.

I have a 1098 engine, which has been mildly worked, street cam, balanced and a 12g295 head.
I have a weber dcoe40 that I plan on fitting.

I've asked maniflow which system they would recommend and they have advised the 1275 large bore system.
I just wanted to check here and see if this recommendation is ok.

cheers
Moray

Maniflow are not a fly by night, Bling-My-Saxo, bolt-on-bits company. They have years of experience with a-series engines. They are the only company I know of that offers a choice and the sizing is based on sound, established flow bench work. Go with their recommendation.

I agree - get the big one - cos soon you will upgrade to a 1275 anyway! But I can't agree that 40 DCOE is a good idea........ for a road car.
