Hi
Ive just refilled my front dampers. Looking at the rear I wondered if I should remove them to refill due to the mounting angle.
Many thanks

You can do one of them as it sits on the car - the other - just slacken both bolts and remove one - and pivot the damper down on the other until the top sits level - then carry on! I hope you are first draining out the horrible old smelly thin oil - it will have been destroyed over the years and will have lost most of it's viscosity by now. Then refill with sae 20 if you want standard damping - or 30 or 40 for much improved damping!

Thanks for your reply.
I worked it out and did exactly what you said. the oil that came out was foul!!!!!
I can get over the difference it has made. She just glides along now.

Such an improvement - and for virtually no cost!
