Have contacted several companies,no change out of £45 and that was the cheapest, about £38 for the plastic and £8 postage ,and then theres the glue and thats doing it myself,.One company wants me to remove from car, send to them, they will fit and post back, that will cost about £75 to £85,and will be of the road for about a week,.A new hood at £155 to £195 is looking better more and more, cheers,Brian.

If it's just gone 'foggy' I believe there is a product that can clear it - sold to Spridget owners I think. I have no idea if it works - and to be honest - I am sceptical!

If you're thinking about replacing the hood I know there are loads of different options, but don't buy the cheapest it'll be a false economy, the vinyl is very thin on some of the ones I looked at, and won't last. Not good value for money IMHO.

When I had a Barchetta, the club recommended a Halfords own brand plastic window polish. Don't know if they still do it but worth a look if there's a Halfords nearby.
