Hello, I understand that there are 2 shades of trafalgar blue? Is it the earlier shade which is brighter? My car was built in sept 68 would this have been in the lighter or darker shade? If you order BU37 now is it just available in 1 shade? Trafalgar is one of my favourite morris minor colours, think turquoise looks great tho!

I have a '68 Trafalgar Blue Traveller and comparing it to a saloon which I was informed was also Trafalgar Blue, it was definately darker. You will get a mis match between cellulose and two pack as well.

Hi mine is a 68, and is the lighter shade.
I looked into this about ten years ago, and in all honesty neither blmc paint codes come close to original colour. You are better off asking for the paint to be matched to the car if painting a small amount.
