Hello all, just wanted to ask what year/model had the passenger front seats which the back folds down to the base on and which models had reclining front seats? Were they just options? I have a 1968 deluxe 4 door saloon which I have good seats for but they are both fixed backs with base adjustment only, would these be correct for year?

The early (splitscreen) cars had both front seats folding, the early minor 1000s up to 1964 had a folding passenger seat and fixed driver seat, after october 1964 both seats had fixed backs.
I think reclining seats were introduced very late on as an optional extra.

Thank you very much for the information, looks like my seats are correct then. Was it just the drivers seat with the adjustment at the bottom?

Yes, only the drivers seat had an adjustment mechanism underneath.
