I put a post up about this several weeks ago in General section, no one was interested really apart from a few stalwards.
we'll be there with a trav 170bhp and my saloon 220bhp supercharged, book yourself a passenger ride, as I'll be there all day,
I'm the ugly fat bloke with a beard

First cars are on track at 9.00am. you can have the 'hold the video camera' job if you like, makes it awkward to steer if I do it

I'll be on track 9.20-9.35,12.40-1255,2.55-3.10 and 4.15-4.30. I think Richard in the trav is on track most of the day. look forward to meeting you !! :D

Brill news re the mounts, as they are really hot on having NO hand held devices in the car.
You will require a helmet, I'll bring along a spare incase you do not have one. Forcast is overcast with some rain, so we'll need to get a wriggle on to heat the tyres up ! :o :D

Looking really forward to the day!

Had a great day :D . Both cars ran faultlessly except for a clutch /gearbox issue on mine, which despite giving some 'hairy' moments, didn't impare progress. Both cars had a massive inpact on the day, especially 'Doris' the traveller which terrorised many a quick hot hatch. PPC will be doing a feature on Doris soon
Not much video taken, so will now start saving for an in car setup.
Good to see 'Faceplant' hope I didn't scare him too much ! :o and he enjoyed the brief ride :D

Yep, a great day and a very diverse selection of drool worthy cars. Looks like it's going to become another event I need to attend each year and I even got park in the 'cool cars' section in my daily.

Some photos from the other side of the track. There's always one who has to park the wrong way to everyone else

Thanks HR, it will be getting a colour make over soon when I get time :D .
Power goes down very well, its very stable at speed and in corners, but will receive ongoing changes to eliminate roll . We showed up several hot hatches going around Gerrards, into the esses and could hold a tight line into and out of the hairpin.
We have a bad vibration at max rpm in 3rd going into 4th which then disapears, so we'll be investigating that. The gearbox was also causing concern, but we think its maybe a clutch issue, the box will come out soon and be checked over.
Lots more development to do as the funds allow, and the 'driver ' improves his act. 8)
Good to see you Dan, hopefully have you and a few more Minors there next year.
