Hi had my little minor for 10 months and she's a little gem, anyway to the point I was giving her a service before her MOT so I replaced the points etc and got her some new leads only to find they didn't reach, further investigation found that the distributor is 180 degrees out, is this something that 1) is easy to put right ? 2) a major problem if left as it is as she runs fine ? Thank you

Leave it where it is - It makes no difference as long as timing is correct and leads connected in correct order.

That's it - just swop the leads around.

are you sure that the distributor is 180 degrees out?

If you purchase the suggested lead set from a well known nation wide out of town retailer, the recommended lead set contains one lead that is too short!

Hi, Yes it's 180 out, the number 1 position is bottom left i.e. at 7 o'clock, and the leads were from a morris minor sales place
