Take the brake drum off and knock the broken stud inwards.
They are only held by splines and the end is mushroomed to stop it pulling through the hub.

If one has broken - the others could well be on their last legs if they have been subjected to the same treatment! I suggest changing all 4 - if not all 16 on the car! I suppose they have been hammered up with a garage air gun ??

I trust it is a standard minor hub, not Ford or anything.
It will have been in place for the past 40 years or so.
What are you hitting it with?
If there is still a stub poking out I'd hit it with a club hammer otherwise you will need a drift to hit it with.
A "short sharp shock" is what you need, mind your fingers!
