I got the jerking sorted and got rid of the black smoke Hurrrah!
Now for the next Issue,
The car is driving really well, Pulls and pulls even up hill, although took the car out tonight, and when driving at about 60mph then release the throttle there is a rattle and it seems to be coming from the engine bay.
Speed up to 60mph again and it stops, release the throttle again and the rattle is back.
Anyone got any ideas what this might be.

Exhaust drumming where it's touching the body? What's the oil pressure like?

I was thinking that, but not sure thats it,exhaust was hot and didnt want to touch it,
Oil pressure is about 60 with foot down, about 40 on idle

Pressure is fine then! So - it won't be the bearings.

Probably the exhaust touching the bulkhead aperture where it exits the engine bay. The torque reaction in the drivetrain is causing the engine to tilt, changing the angle of the exhaust. If adjusting the exhaust doesn't do the job you may have to look at the condition of the engine and gearbox mounts. Sometimes replacing those is easier than getting the manifold joint right!

If it is the exhaust you can make up an adjustable bracket which attaches to the gearbox and prevents the exhaust pipe rattling against the aperture.
