No, if you zoom in on the pic you can just make out brackets that attatch to the bumper mounting points. The brackets are sandwiched between bumper bar and the tube. I'll take some close ups tomorrow if you want....?

I have spotlights mounted on my front valance. But have also fitted the halogen headlights. The spots are mostly for look, but do help in the countryside at night.[frame]Image[/frame]

Nothing less than 7" Lucas will do![frame]Image[/frame]

These were mounted on a spare front bumper bar - and fitted for Rallies only. Then removed to prevent theft/damage and a full bumper fitted for road use. Only took a couple of minutes. I still have the lights - and maybe even the bar!

Well - it was during a 'driving test' which was part of a rally - some 45 years ago! If you look closely - i've actually got some hair![frame]Image[/frame]

This picture from a 'stage' on possibly the same all-night rally - at the end of the night sections I turned the lights inwards to protect them!

The driving lights are wired through the dip switch to avoid dazzling oncoming cars

Mike's photo just solved a mystery for me - a bracket almost exactly like that was in the crates of bits and pieces that came with Fenchurch and I've never been able to work out what it was for. :)

If it doesn't work, you're not hitting it with a big enough hammer.

Here's my bracket. Just a bent piece of steel. Hole through for the bumper bar and another on top for the lamp to mount.

straight through the valance for me. I have H4 headlights, I just think the spots look nice. They come on with high beam.

Or you could wire them up via a central off position switch.
I terminal from permanent live ( lamps on all the time)
central terminal to driving lamps
3 terminal from main beam on dipswitch (lamps off when dipped)

Just make sure the switch can take the juice

Then they would be illegal (if used without headlamps) - since mounted far too low. Except of course - in fog or falling snow......

What's the point then - we don't get fog now - do we? Just clouds of fine dust.........
