Hi all, having just bought a new shiny badge for the boot I find myself wondering how they fit? The fittings came with it. Little top hat type clips in plastic. These look like they are fitted from the outside, pushed through the holes and the badge pushed in the top hats. Has anyone else had a problem fitting them or am I being fik!!

surely you put the badge on through the bootlid and the the fittings on the back

No, according to BMM the clips go in firs. They stop water getting in. They just dont go on the badg pins. Ill see if I can find the other type. The ones that hold the bonnet badges and bonnet strips with some sealant.

i used the original ones and put some mastic on the pins and clips then painted with body colour
