quick tire question

Hi

I'm sure this question has been asked 1,000 times so apologies,

Am I right in assuming that a 155 tire will fit on a standard rim (on a standard 1962 car),
and is it ok to have 145's on the front and 155's on the rear.
I'm thinking this would be the best set-up.

My problem is that I can get two 155 'midrange' tires for the price of one 145 Bridgesone,
so it makes sense to replace a whole set at the rear.

I appreciate any advice offered...

Graham

Thank you, that's definitely a quick answer to a quick question! At least I know
I'm not being stupid - which does make a change.

You should run them at ~ 30 psi - more if carrying a load!

Well that's my next question answered as well! I run my 144's at 26-28 so that makes
sense. Fingers crossed it'll be easy for people to search out this thread and have the
basics covered. Thanks again.
