KPC 994C's Resto

This is my minor which I have owned since I was 15 (10 years ago). Orginally from Essex, came to N Ireland in 1996.
This picture was taken in March 2009, before restoration started.

Restoration completed to date. Which includes new rear chassis legs, 4 door bottoms, 4 wings, inner wings repaired, all window seals and respray. This is being carried out by Minor Services, Warringstown, N Ireland. The rest,reassembling and MOT will be done by myself.

New rear wings fitted

Door bottoms now completed, no pictures yet. External door handles removed for rechroming.
Nearly ready for undercoat then trafalgar blue. Then wheels in old english white.

Went to visit the progress today (20/04/10). Front door bottoms completed excellent job, front wings on, new lhf hadrains wing didn't fit well, so a bit of work required on the new wing but it fits prefectly now. Excellent door shut lines (d/s/f door not closed properly in photos). New grille and alloy surround fitted with front panel painted. Windscreens removed and rear door bottoms started.

Aiming for end of june (2010
) but who knows. After respray is completed still a lot of fiddly jobs to do. Paul works by himself and has other projects going on too.

Not to long yet. I have got most of the parts I think I need, but I'll see what bargains are about.

Visited the progress today (23/10/10) and to give paul the rechromed door handles. Rear door bottoms completed, L/H/R door worse than R/H/R as new both sections were needed. Front and rear windscreens removed and lip edges prepared and red leaded, so hopefully no more leaks
. Next stage now is the undercoating.

Visited progress today (29/01/11). Car now has first layer of undercoat applied and looking very well.
