Clutch mechanism linkage etc

Post by jonno1272 »

Hi, the clutch pedal went to the floor earlier and have had a look and the bush on the shaft had popped out the chassis side, pushed it all back in but looks a bit flimsy, what bits should I order? Also looks like someone has made their own rod at some point instead of the original one with the hooked end. Its a 1968 1098cc saloon by the way.

I would order virtually ALL the moving parts. I did so 5 years ago, but have yet to get round to fitting them.........

I'll second that, but you do need to fit them to feel the benefit :D .
They live and work in a harsh environment and will all be worn.
The clutch action will be very much better for it too.
