Has anyone counted the number and size of wood screws to be used when replacing aluminium panels, inside wood and possibly srewing rather than nailing roof to top rails.
It would make life easy when ordering stainless steel screws from Screwfix!

Millerman,
I hope I'm not to late. What ever you do, don't go to Screwfix!!! They are rubbish!!! everything from screwfix is cheap for a very good reason.

Like Kevin said, go to Steve Forman and get some REAL stainless steel screws, or find a small fixing and fastners company in your area. I don't think there is enough room for screws in the gutters, I think I used some 25mm (might have been 30mm) long marine grade stainless steel nails in the gutter. And something like 150 -200 screws on the panels of 1" X 8 and of the marine grade stainless aswell. Steve Forman will be able to sell you the correct amount of each.

Hope this helps.
