well happy with it taken about 4 weeks to get right got another week to go but everything is polshed and togeather apart
from the manifold
ignore the plates (only allowed to being parts inside when mums not there)

Have you now removed it?????

no havent removed just know u dont like em

, hopefully it should, not been started in 20 years

should have first start this sunday or monday, only done 2000 miles from a full rebuild

Be sure to oil the bores and pump up oil pressure before trying to start it.

I've herd the saying, it's that clean you can eat your dinner
off it but I've never seen it done.

Well done your hands must be sore with polishing!

never eaten my crust and yes they are sore and full of black polish, about an hour from startin and jonathon you exaust bends made a nice system which is also polished
im well impressed with it just need the rest of the car to match, ive build up the pressure
what pressure should my oil gauge read

ITS NOW RUNNING, after not being started in 20 years only took 30 mins to get going and a mess about with the dizzy.
everything works and isnt smoky which is good, oil gauge is about 70 is that right

Anything over 50lb. sq. in. I would have thought is good. When warm and at idle, probably no less than 25lb. sq. in. If the pressure gets 'very high' ie. much over your 70lb. it could indicate a problem in that the oil can't 'flow' and is restricted somewhere. I'd be happy with the 70lb peak if the oil is cold and engine speed above idle...

it was at 70 when just started and revving it up so could be alright,

this was when it was icy if you look carefully i got black rear wings[frame]

cant drive it cause i cant get it in gear
