Morris Minor Owners Club

Hi there. I have often looked at MG's with the 4 pin alloy wheels and wondered if they would fit straight onto my Minor.
What is the maximum rim width (14"?) for the car and what would I have to change/modify to allow for them to fit.
I have attached a few links to some on eBay. I will probably save the money and keep it standard but I was just interested. Thanks

First you need wheels with a 4 inch PCD and second you need to check the offset to make sure that the wheel and tyre clears the front suspension.

PCD = Pitch circle diametre - stands for the diametre of a circle drawn through your wheels bolt holes. i.e. measure from the centre of one hole to the centre of another These days it is measured in millimetres.

Just to amplify that answer (there, that's putting it kindly), it's the one opposite that you measure to, not the next one round. And be careful: most Minor wheels are 4", whereas most other makes that look about the same are 100mm - and this is definitely a case where near enough isn't good enough - see plenty of previous threads.
