Hi all.

I don't suppose anyone has a picture of how the front seatbelts are supposed to go? Having taken them out some six months ago for the resto work I can't for the life of me figure out which way they go round. Tried all sorts of ways. All I have is the inertia unit, a top link and the other end, but I can't fix it all together with it moving as freely as it did before!

I have a 1 year old daughter so safety is paramount.

Reel at bottom, hoop on B pillar.

Belt from reel goes through hoop on B pillar from behind then bolts to floor behind reel. The buckle needs to be between the reel and hoop on the B pillar when it returns to the floor. The reel has to be square and verticle to work smoothly, there should be a white arrow on the one end, which needs to point upwards. Once bolted in they work better.

The bit the buckle clicks into needs to be bolted to the transmission tunnel.

Seatbelt shenanigans sounds like a good name for a game to play at the National.
Just need to think of a game to go with it.

I'm about to fit some belts to my Trav and I'm still unsure how. I was going to use a seperate anchor point for the inertia reel and the lower fixing. I see the photo's show the belts fitted with on the same nut.

Is this how everyone else has done them?

This is how i did mine. I could have had the top mount a little further along but it retracts ok & is comfortable where it is
The inside of the sill is easily accessible with the kickplate removed to enable a large washer & nut to be welded in
