Hello guys, just joined the club in the last few days, I pick up (hopefully) a 1957 Morris Minor 1000 4 door saloon 1098cc engine in Dove Grey on Friday, she has been given a new floor, and some needed tlc, and is off for her MOT tomorrow, I've wanted one for years, ever since my Auntie had one when I was a kid growing up in South Yorkshire, it was her mobile office as a district nurse!
I live in the North Devon area, so my little Moggy or "Mo" as the kids have christened her should look good in and around the country lanes or beaches. Does anyone know how I get hold of a roof rack that is suitable fo put on her, so I can take my kayak?
Thanks Neil

Hi Neil -welcome to the Club and the messageboard
See this recent thread here for roof rack advice: http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=31213 You'll need to find one that fits to the gutter but make sure that it has enough height to clear the curve of the roof as not all classic car roof racks will fit.

The Birmingham Minor Centre have re-produced an original shape roof rack designed for the Minor. Advert on the back page of the Club's magazine, Minor Matters - little pricey at £100ish but may be the kind of thing you're after. Welcome to the Club.
