hi there can anyone tell me how to wire up an electrical washer pump to the fuses not regulator and how to completely wire it up

I will check my car in the morning and give you the insructions for wiring wipers and washers to one switch. You will need a light switch to replace the wiper switch and an electric washer motor screwed on the bulkhead near the fuel pump with the washer bottle near it.

When i did i simply put a switch into the whole where the washer "pumpy thing" came from ( unless you have another use for that hole). I was feeling flush at the time so purchased a spring loaded switch.

wiring is very straight forward..

run a wire from the fuse box to the switch and then from the switch to your pump. run another one from the pump to an earth point.

which fuse do i run the wire off to the switch and when you say earth point do you mean the body and i dont really want a light switch as i have got a push switch for the washer

I bought one of these (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... K:MEWNX:IT) for the pickup as the hand powered washer pump was broken. Its amazingly good value as you get the tank, pump, wires, switch, jets, pipes, brackets in fact everything you need bar a bit of cable to extend the wires all for just over a tenner delivered.
You wire the red (or blue if its neg earth) to ground and the other cable to the switch and then to the switched supply (ign) fuse. Could not be simpler, took me 30 minutes to install as I was able to use the original jets which were already fitted.

I got one of these http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/V ... /gwp14.jpg off Ebay for about a tenner. I plan to fit it behind the l/h kidney panel in the cabin so it's out of site. With a bit of extra tube it can be removed for refilling without wetting the cabin. I've used one of these before connected to the original tubing meaning the squirters don't have to be removed.

If you mount the washer pump on the engine bulkhead then you can take the feed from the terminal on the fuel pump which is already fused, to a terminal on the washer pump.
If you want to use one switch then remove the wiper switch and replace it with a light switch.
Connect the black earth wire to the A terminal of the switch and the black/green wire to S1 terminal.
Switch the ignition on and check that the wipers work on both positions.
Connect the wire from the other terminal of the washer pump to S2 terminal . The first position should power the wipers and the second position should power the wipers and washers.
Connect the pipes to the washer pump and check that the pump is sucking not blowing and if necessary swap the pipes over

Is it really too much trubble to just push the little plunger a couple of times ? I find it works great!

and one of these push switches which has 2 connectors on the back i want to know how i wire it up[frame][/frame]

You should have paid attention in skool physics! Wire from fuse to switch - then from switch to pump and from pump to earth. Simples!

as said by myself earlier in the thread but this time in depth..

run a green wire from your fuse box to one of the terminals on the rear of the switch.. it does not matter which side of the switch as pushing the switch makes the connections and the electricity will not care which way it flows through your switch.

run another length of wire from the other side of the switch to your pump.. lets say the right hand side for starters.

run a black wire from the the left hand side of the pump to an earth connection.. in other words a piece of body work with a screw through it.

now test it.. if the pump does not pump the water, simply swap the wires over on the pump so that it does.

all done now
