What i am asking what is the best paint to use and if there was a correct color.
Like rose red & royal blue & type of paint - like epoxy or special type/brand.
I am curious because mine has faded out the colors in the emblem. Most of the paint is gone.
Do you have to scratch the surface for any thing to bond to it or just paint it.

Thanks for your advice,

This has been discussed previously - see here: http://www.mmoc.org.uk/viewtopic.php?f= ... adge+paint

There is not a correct colour code as such, just look for a suitable match. I just used enamel paint - others have used nail varnish etc. No need to 'prep' the surface before hand, just remove any loose flakes of paint if there are any.

And gently 'flood' the paint in off the tip of a brush - then leave to dry!

Any craft enamel (Humbrol in this country) not water based of course. I cut down the bristles on an artists brush so it's very fine.

Gang,

I was a little confused as the paint looks Aqua under the Bull which is red. The bottom is Blue - but a different shade of blue. That is why i wanted to know if there were official colors.

Thank you for the link and all the replies too.

Have a look at the Club logo at the top of the messageboard page. That's a good colour reference for you to match.
