I've just noticed that I can't send PMs
When I click send they dissapear!
I've sent several since the remodeling of the site, but there is no sign of them either. Thats probably why no one has replied!
What am I missing?

I think I have a problem too, they are in my sent box, but I don't seem to get replies either.
Maybe nobody wants to speak to me.

If they're in your sent box, they've been read. When you send a PM, it starts off in your outbox, then moves to your sentbox when the recipient has read them. If they don't, check that none of your mailboxes are full - the old system used to delete things for you, this one allows you to choose what to delete. Incoming messages are held until there's space. You the have to release the held messages.

My messages never appear in my out box.
However I have made a breaktrough. It all works on my work PC so I suspect it's something to do with Norton antivirus, the problem is how do I fix it.

When I click submit it takes me to the preview screen and I don't seem to be able to get out of the loop.

I've just tried disabling Norton.
Still can't send messages
I get stuck in a loop every time I press submit I go to the review screen.

I'm using Norton on my PC and laptop and it doesn't effect the sending of messages. Are you receiving messages OK?

Are you using Internet Explorer? Do you have an alternative browser installed (like Firefox, Chrome, Safari) - if you have, try from one of those and see if the problem goes away.
If you've only got Internet Explorer, try running it without add-ons - by clicking START > ALL PROGRAMS > ACCESSORIES > SYSTEM TOOLS > INTERNET EXPLORER (NO ADD ONS)
Try that and report back. It's unlikely to be the message checking in Norton but it could be an add-on in the browser.

OK I have sorted it now
It was Norton's fault I use Nortons login gizzmo to autofill my login and password.
On the PM page every time I tried to send a message it autofilled the box and tried to add my login as well as the recipient. This obviously freaked the system and as a result nothing happened.
What I have done now is turn off autofill for the PM page so it doesn't try and put rogerrust into any box it sees and now it works.
I'm sorry if that's not very clear but It's sorted now.

I'm glad you found it - I'd never come across anything like that before!

Not quite the same problem but in the past I had some odd issues with Norton especially being ultra slow on start up and when moaning to my local computer expert he suggested using
http://www.eset.co.uk/
and all my problems dissapeared, you can always try the free version first to see how you get on.

Just use AVAST instead of expensive Norton! It's FREE - and it works just fine.
