Thanks Mark, I was offered the feature when I was at a cruise night in Falkirk last August, the photogragher was taking pictures for Fast Car magazine. He said he also did the pictures for Retro Cars and they would love to feature it so I said why not. Hopefully I will make most of the car shows this year weather permitting (just joking!)

Good to see Minors in ther that aren't V8 powered (nothing wrong with V8s by the way!). When they featured the V8 Minors, the mag sort of implied that a Minor needed a V8 to make it interesting (yet all a Golf/Jetta/Polo needed was a set of BBS rims and a load of tat on the roofrack!).
I must say that the features on the two Minors were much better written than the previous Minor features (even if they did get the number of valves wrong!), and maybe theyve come to their senses regarding Minors (I hope so).
Enough of the rant though, well done to you and faceplant for getting your cars featured, they both look superb.

You most definately don't need a V8 for a quick Minor, but you do for a mega quick one :D

Hi Ratrodmog, If you buy a mag there's a bit at the back to tell you how to get your car featured. It was a fluke, I was at the Falkirk Cruise night last August when the photogragher from Fast Car magazine was taking pitures and he said he also took pictures for Retro Cars and they would love to feature it in the magazine :) So i was in the right place at the right time i suppose

I agree I bought Retro Car Magazine and both your cars are stunning the writers & photographers also put together two good articles. For anyone interested Ed Hall is doing up a Minor in Practical Performance Car magazine and fitting a ford essex engine into it. I don't know what his intentions are or how long it will take as PPC have a bit of a rep for not finishing projects but if it is on the magazine rack it's worth a look.

Hi danny,
Your morris looks good too 8) The header tank is from a Morris Marina! I've been following the build
in Practical Perfomance Car, It'll be interesting to see what colour he goes for modern or classic.
Cheers steven

Nice feature, interior looks nice. It's always nice when you get featured going in to WHS and seeing your car :)

Hi danny,
I always fill my radiator up with the main pipe and then top it up
with the header tank. Yes the anti roll bar makes It handle a lot
better and it sort of stops you from clunking the sump on speed
bumps!
