Hi Steve
Have you thought of having the centre of some moggie wheels machined out and then put on some other rims from say a Montego/Maestro (I think they are 14 inch) and you can have your desired offset and could even go mad and put 185 tyres on if thats your aim. It could turn out quite cheap if you found the right engineering workshop. I had some weller wheels re-drilled to the Moggie PCD, cost me £25 and a couple cans of beer, it's all down to 'who' you know not 'what'.
cheers, Daniel

Not exactly the stud holes are a different size if I remember, thats what Daniel meant by getting them re-machined although you need to check how the wheel nuts locate. There is some info on this in Owen Burtons book if I remember.

Just fitted a set of viva rostyle wheels they went straight on. will have to buy new rubber for them as they came with 185/70x13 f/stones and they are too wide, they rub on the top trunnion.

The Minor uses 3/8" studs and The Viva 7/16" studs so even though they may fit they will not centralise correctly because although the pcd is correct the stud spacing wont be unless the holes in the rims were opened out and then this may affect the wheel nuts ?

yes Kevin, but if that's correct, 7/16" is larger than 3/8" why would you open them out?? ;-)
The size is relevant though as you need to ensure the nut clamps into the hole properly - ie that the nut doesn't hit the drum before clamping the wheel tightly enough :o

Correct of course Ray I was thinking in reverse, what I should have said is that the standard Minor wheel nuts fit a total stud spacing of 4 3/8" whereas the Viva would be 4 7/16" so the standard Minor wheel nut will not be in the correct position I know its not much but it can cause runout and not having wheelnuts in the right position on the rim is not something I would care to try, unless of course the chamfer on the Viva wheelnuts is exactly the same as the Minor.
