Still struggling to decide paint colour (need to get engine bay sprayed) but thought I would post a couple of pics of my Pickup so far. Now sporting a 3L Capri rear axle....1275 Midget engine shouldn't break it![frame]

Blimey, that will need some wide arches then

Looking good though. Have a look at VW Aqua blue, its a metalic , and Black violet also a VW colour.

Wide arches indeed! Not a great picture in the sun but it will need some Big Boy Fenders I think![frame]

I can't quite believe how nicely the old Fiat 2L TC fits....probably lose my knuckles when I try to fit a radiator. I've seen a Pug 206 and Marina 1800 rad fitted so will have to start researching that next.

Nice project, superb wheel choice
I used a Pug 205 diesel rad with my twin cam Morris, £40 new

A few of my latest pictures.
Lowered 3" and Chevy rear arches cut down to size. Chassis lengthened 8".

Oh no

you've went and done one of the things I was hoping to do with my moggy!
Oh well, at least it gives me an idea of how it will look. I really like your pickup though. If you ever get bored of the project let me know. I've got to the stage with mine that I could literally scrap it and buy something like you have there!
Get some more updates sorted soon!

Hi there,
That's a great build you've got going on. I am also restoring a Moggy Pick-Up and I'm putting an Austin A40 Pick-Up bed on the back. However I just have the panels and no floor section.
How are you attaching your bed to the chassis? Any piccies would be a great help.
Cheers,
Doug D'G.
