Poor quality battery cut out switches

This was bought at the NEC Classic Car Show in November

Apparently the colour of the plastic indicates the quality
So for green read very poor quality

I've said it many times on this forum - they are a liability and should NOT be used.
If you want a cut out switch, fit one of these.....

I had exactly the same problem with one purchased at Bath show last year. I asked a couple of other sellers where they got their supplies from at later jumbles and there was a common reply. Probably shouldn't say who supplied but rodent explains it!
