Speedo reads past petrol gauge!

Hi Guys,

I recently fitted a new speedo cable, it was custom made to fit a fiat abarth gearbox. However it is reading much faster than i am travelling. Is it possible to configure/claibrate a speedo?

Are you sure you aren't going that fast?

These people are listed in the MG Car Club "Trade members" section - http://www.speedoheads.co.uk/. There used to be a company called "Vintage Restorations" listed but I can't see them listed anymore. They did my Midget speedo and rev counter when I rebuilt the car. I'll have the bill on file, so I'll have a phone number, albeit from twenty years ago.

My father had something done to one of his Smiths gauges recently at http://www.caigauge.com/. You may need to be patient!!

yer, i had a sat nav telling me i was doing 70 and the speedo reading off the dial. will follow those links, thanks
