EVERSURE FILLACAN

picked up one of these at a junk shop. very clean inside. outside has been spray with a rattle can (poorly). what would be the best paint for this? i would like to use it .

Smooth right should be ok or try your local wilkos they started doing some great spray cans i did my bro inlaws new disco spring with it as long as you strip the old paint off 1st you will be ok. should be ok with fuel going on the new paint ie: should no attact it but i know halfords do a clear petrol proof laquer if you want to be safe

thanks. i like the can, with its handle as the spout, also a filter in as well . saw one in a book once. never thought i would get one

are they rare?

Unsure if rare never seen one in my 34 years lol i googled the can to see what it looked like

1st hehe , i guess some folk just like the newr plastic ones cause dont rust + less racket rolling around in the boot with the plastic ones

+ i guess they would cause damp to build up on the walls of the can being metal & left out in the cold ? just my toughts

i have a lesco one
i resprayed it with enamel with added hardener and gave it a good while to harden. Haven't had the paint fall off yet so i must say its working

Nice as they look I am afraid I only carry a 10 litre jerry can and spout - totally sealed, its been upside down, frozen and baked in summer heat with not so much as a whiff! It came from our local QD store, £10
