Does anyone know of the Berkshire Countryman, a coachbuilt special bodied Morris Minor Traveller built in Wallingford in the early 1950's and possibly sold through Nuffield Dealers

Those front seats look dangerous. The back seat passengers would lose their teeth the first time the driver braked

Remember this was the 1950's no safety belts etc, children sitting on Mum's lap in the front.
My youngest sister used to sit in a car chair (not bolted down) and when we went round corners we all slid one way and then another. We've come a long way since then.....

They remind me of bus seats, the amount of times I hit my head on the seat infront as a kid

Alas another cut off photo, wish they would upload properly, but you can see the rear seat with their chrome bars, the fabric sun roof and of course those veneered side panels

Interesting - It appears to have short front doors (like my blue traveller). Wonder if it was built onto a chassis too ?

It's all there on my screen. If you use the 'upload picture' on the posting screen, the site will resize it for you to something that is more suitable for the messageboard

Jon, the images load fine in IE but in Firefox they are cutoff at the right hand side. If you use Firefox view image option they appear full screen correctly.

Think it all depends on the resolution you're running your screen at. Can see images fine on my desktop PC but they're cut off on my laptop.

Ref the photos being cut off, I haven't a clue what you computer types are talking about, but if the information on the poster did not take up the right hand column of the screen and was where it used to be there would be more room for pictures
