Ian Nairn's blue softtop XPC559G

Post by iannairnfan »

This moggie featured prominently in articles in the Sunday Times, and TV programmes by the great architectural writer and traveller (no pun intended) Ian Nairn, in the 1970s. I would appreciate information about this car, and better still be able to see it, and/or look at its logbook, ans I am contemplating writing a book on Ian Nairn. Waiting with bated breath !

The vehicle details for XPC 359G are:

Date of Liability 01 03 2010
Date of First Registration 01 04 1969
Year of Manufacture 1969
Cylinder Capacity (cc) 1098CC
CO2 Emissions Not Available
Fuel Type Petrol
Export Marker Not Applicable
Vehicle Status SORN Due to Expire
Vehicle Colour BLUE

Looks like it is still around but is on a SORN so possibly under restoration at the moment.
