Finally got around to having a look at the other pickup that came free with my one that is to be restored.
I dont think much is worth keeping!
The pictures actually make it look better than it is!

4 of the clips from the rear side panel could find an excellent new home with me!

My plan for collection is to scoop it up into a skip with JCB, pick out any bits that can be used and then off to the dump she goes.

Well if you would be good enough to save me 4 of the clips that are on the rear side panels please, i would very grateful
Then if you would also be kind enough to stick them in a jiffy bag and post them to me ......
I will obviously send you the money for them and postage!

Bits I would definately save.
Defo save the cabs rear window,
The fittings for the tailgate hinges/chains etc
The hoops, cleats and hooks for the tilt
The triangular bolt on brackets that go between the cab back and the sides.
Check those wheels for wideness
Dash alloy surround without the key hole (if its got that type)
Ignition column switch (again if its got one)
Rear reflectors if they're still there
rear number plate light and lens if its there
Spare wheel retainer if its there
Are the seats any good or have they had it, the frames are different to saloons as I recently found out, you can always recover them.
The ashwork around the back of the cab if its anygood.
and if they're there the little cradles that goe onto the triangular side brackets as mentioned above the hoop carrying, they really are rare.
and thats about all I can think of.
regards

I'd definately save the remains of the pickup sides - the rotten bits are all available as repair sections, so they can be put back to good use by someone who can't afford the £££s for a half decent pair.

Same as Hillman Imp reflectors. May not help but its another avenue to explore.
I'd certainly save the pickup sides off that. Done far worse in the past....

Once we moved it, we found out just how rotten it was. I have saved the glass and think with some heat the 2 stuck hoops will free, will take off the tailgate fixings and thicker metal parts once the skip is delivered to my house.
Panels were more paint and paper thin rust than metal and just crumbled in my hands.
The top half of the bit around the cab back window is quite silid, the bottom half was made out of GRP 15 yrs ago and just fell away, is it worth saving as it looks a complex shape.
Seats are pretty rusty but will have a better look if frames can be saved.
Quite sad really!

Well on inspection the chassis appeared to be a little bent!

Some parts were saved.
The vehicle was really rotten.
All glass and some bits and pieces.

Then it was carefully packed for disposal.

I was asked if it had a speedo without keyhole, it did not it was just like a car but was very corroded.

Well I was quite impressed with the repair to the tailgate that utilised some plywood, an aluminium panel and lits of pop rivets and filler!

I see you managed to save some of the clips from the rear side panels
Would you like to part with 4 of them?
