Being new to this whole owners club malarkey, what exactly is it? (sorry to sound dumb)
Living in Sheffield, but at uni in Manchester, id be interested in going and looking at other minors that are in a lot better condition than mine! And just generally talking about minors and learning! (and finding out a local source of spares!). When i get it back on the road ill be bringing it across to this side of the pennines. And it sure as hell beats writing up this lab report!
How much does it cost? Do you have to have a car to go? Is anyone else going?

Yes it's always a good event and a good way to get in the rally mood for the season ahead

last year there were about 50 Minors present mainly undercover in the bus museum - I will be there but not in my Minor (due to distance & travelling back 100 miles in the dark with S11 lights & crossplys!) if you are not entering a car just pay the museum entrance fee (about the same cost I think). Non classic parking is extremely limited so we normally park offsite & get the tram to Woodlands Road (5 mins walk away)
A few others from here normally go - Cam & Gill will be going.

Hi, I'll be having a go at getting there, starting to look at getting my moggy back on the road now after her 6 year sleep, so would be interested in making a few contacts in the manchester / bolton area. From memory there's a big industrial estate down the road if parking is tight.

Where's best to park (if not coming in a moggy !!)
I may be on my own (so can walk a bit) or I may have a 5 year old and 3 year old (so preferably very little walking).
Cheers
Andy

there's a big retail park down the road, its got a mamas and papas in so have a look on their website -
In fact, just checked google maps, if you google the museums postcode (M8 8UW) then you can see the retail estate just over the road. I'm going with a 2 year old and will be parking there......

just got back from this rally, got to say, I know I've not been to one for quite a while but had a really good time, went with wife and 2 kids, plenty enough for everyone, the bus ride was great and the little model moggy was fantastic. My daughter was in floods of tears when she couldn't take it home!!! Well done to everyone. Didn't stay for the results but there was some truly fantastic cars there today, well done to all those who took their moggys. Bring on next year!!!!
