indicator stalk bulb

Hi all just fitted the idnicator stalk, but when the indicators are on the green bulb just flashes once and that's it, shouldn't it stay flashing till the indicators are switch off? thanks

don't know if this makes any difference but the rear lights are not fitted yet

the bulb flashing once is an indication that one of the main bulbs has failed at least it always has been on my moggies.. in your case you have not yet fitted the rear bulb so I would expect the arm bulb to flash the once and the front bulb to be flashing like a "mad thing"

oh thanks well the front indicators seem to flash Ok tho not like a mad thing

yes, as Charlie says its down to the load on the flasher unit being wrong - I'm sure all will be well with rear lights fitted....
