hi, whats the best treatment for leafsprings? have fairly new springs which are fine but are starting to go orange. when my mate was into old landrovers he would wire brush the springs then spray them with the old oil from his diesel engine. is this any good

Yes paint/spray with thick oil - or treat with grease and wrap in Denso tape!
