Hi everyone. Im back here, just bought another minor. Not had one for nearly a year!! Once they are in your blood stream you cant do without!!

ANYWAY,

i have some van wheels which need tyres... They are for a 4 door saloon, and my q is....

What is the best/correct/ size of tyre for these wheels??

It needs wider wheels as 1275cc plus 5 speed box etc...

If you are thinking of getting a more modern car- dont!!! (ps- anyone wanna buy an MGF for £2000???!) :D

Ive got 155 80 R14's on mine,
Some people use 165 80's which are slightly easier to get hold of.

I think the Van 4.5J rims roughly equate to the metric 155, against the standard rim of 3.5J or 135/145mm.

Will take 165/70 X14 tyres ok - I wouldn't go any wider.
