Hi Again,
Went to lock my boot and realised that its not working as it should be!
When i turn the key in the lock (either way) the handle still turns and the boot opens. Is the lock supposed to stop the handle from turning? or lock the boot on the inside?
I'm getting an alarm fitted this weekend for security, tho having a working lock is a start!
Cheers
DT

Re: Boot lock, dosent lock!
If the lock turns with the key my guess would be that the tumblers are stuck in the down position.
Try a bit of WD40 into the key hole then use another Minor key (if you have one) in and out a bit to free them up.
If this restores function put some graphite into the keyhole for more permenant lubrication.
If you don't have any graphite to hand scribble over the key with a pencil.

The boot lock isnt very sturdy and they often seize up. A new one will cost you about £20 and a lot of peace of mind

Too many Minors so little time.....
