CLOCK

how do you fit a electric clock? ie which wires to use. also do they run the battery down? thanks :-? :-? :-?

Make sure the clock polarity is the same as your car first. Then run a positive always live feed to the clock and an earth (if it does not earth through the clock body). Yes, it will run the battery down over a period of time, but if the car is used regularly it will be OK.

I have just repaired my smiths clock and fitted it to my Mog.The approx current drain is about 15 milli amps per hour so if my maths are right 100hrs is 1.5 amps per 4 days not much at all, not enough to worry about.

I change the battery in my car clock once a year. It does not drain the car battery at all :o
