a bit about us......
The branch was formed in January 1981
the first meeting was held in november 1981
and we had 35 members
by 1982 this had risen to 56..
our first annual rally was in june ,now with 122 members
by 1983 we had 173.
membership rose to 347 by 1990 this was the peek and has been in decline
we currently stand at 160 members.
as a branch we hold an annual rally every year, we try and move the rally around the country
some parts of the country attracting more numbers of cars than others .
over the past few years we have had visitors from other MMOC branches attending our rally.
out annual rally this year is in the beautiful town of Peebles. more on this later.......
we are a branch with a membership spread over a very large area so we try and encourage members to
start social groups , at this time we only have one active group and this is in AYRSHIRE .
the Ayrshire group meet every month and organise runs ,dinners,and other outings threw out out the year.
