Moggie insurance - 19 Years old?!

I've looked around and I can't find a decent quote. Tried FJ, but you must be over 25 for classic car insurance.
Most other places stand by similar rules, and those who allow -25 quote in the thousands.
Regular insurance and comparison sites also tend to quote me in the thousands because I am 19. LV have offered a renewal quote for £950 (ish) which is my cheapest quote to date.
I have been driving for two years and have 2 years no claims, does anyone know an insurance site who may be able to quote for less? Its a long shot, but I've had to put my Moggie away for now, and I'd be nice to take her back out.
ANY help would be much appreciated!

If you are a club member you can get insurance from FJ even if you are under 25.

I'll give adrian flux a try in a bit, i'll bear fj in mind too, though I would have to become a member.
I really hope insurance prices drop soon, I simply can't afford it if it carries on this way.
Sadly, It would be cheaper to buy something like a Corsa, or a Golf; Insurance for them are quite cheap I hear.
Nonetheless, I would much rather keep my Moggie, I've grown too fond of her over the years.

If the quote of £950 ish was fully comp then that doesnt seem THAT bad, although as previously said if you go to FJ through the club its quite cheap, only £24 to join, including the magazine which is rather good. I'm paying £530 3rd party (still 17) which is a lot cheaper than i was quoted on a corsa. Hope this helps and you don't have to put your car to bed for a few years.

I would recommend FJ - I started with TPFT when I was 17, which cost about £400 (with club membership) and now six years later I am fully comp for £270

oh and that includes free breakdown cover too

fj are good, and insure most drivers. if you don't use the car excessively then perhaps consider limited mileage, this will save you money, but may not be suitable- depends what you use the car for really! fj go to most major shows, and i found them helpful- they even gave me advice on how to lower my insurance quote

i think this is who i will go with when ive passed the all important test!

ive been with FJ since i started driving aged 18 in 2007,they do a young classic drivers scheme for any car over 15 years old that you are a member of the club, again, around the £400 mark, but that has dropped a lot for me since then!
i have unlimited mileage on mine,it was only another £30
