The old black vinyl on mine was very tatty so I removed it. The padding on the crash pad had almost disintegrated so I used dense foam pipe lagging from the DIY and recovered it all in cherokee red. Not original but looks nice.[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]

It was just a piece of cardboard or fibreboard covered in vinyl in the interior trim colour. Easy to make one up and I don't think you can buy them....? Maybe somewhere like Newton Commercial do them but not seen then at the general suppliers websites....

Newton Commercial don't sell them - it's just a case of making a template, re-covering the one that you've got, or getting lucky and finding a good second hand one. The problem is that the board tends to get 'crinkly' due to sun exposure or leaks from the rear screen so good second hand ones are hard to find :(

It is available for the convertible. ESM sell them. They call it the rear wooden finisher. http://morrisminorspares.co.uk/shop/pro ... 6583701799 This is what it looks like:[frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame][frame]Image[/frame]
I bought matching vinyl from G.S. Jones for covering my parcel shelf two years ago but I don't see it on their website at the moment.
When the weather picks up, I intend to replace the fibre board with plywood and use the bottom of the board as a base to store some essentials such as warning triangle, first aid kit etc (mandatory here).

Yep, my interior is made from the Dunelm Mill red leatherette, it looks very snazzy :D It's not too pricey either.

Woolies (http://www.woolies-trim.co.uk) have a huge selection of material for this purpose. Quite expensive though...

Choose your seller wisely. There is at least one company with a reputation for delayed dispatch and poor communication. their feedback says it all. :(

Thanks for the heads up peetee. The seller I have found seems to be prety reliable, I asked for some samples and they arrived two days later, so I'm taking that as a sign :)
