I have an old PC (10 yrs ish) that I use my graphic software on and I would like to hook it up to the interweb. I have had it connected before but not via wireless internet. I now have my laptops using a Talk Talk service through a dedicated external router. I dont think the old PC is wireless compatible. Can it be modified?

Certainly possible! I did the same as you last year on an old pc using something like this:

Its also possible to buy an internal wireless card if you prefer, though best check you have the relevant slots free first :)

Cheaper if you dont mind cables is a network card available everywhere for about a fiver as aposed to around 15 to 20 quid for a wireless card and its more secure

What version of Windows is it running?
Windows 95 doesn't work with USB very well, if at all.

nigelr2000 is spot on. Wired connections are better in many ways especially for desktop boxes.

Am I right in thinking that this beast is a desktop?

I can sort it out for you if you like Pete......
