I'm after an 8 x 4 board to line the trailer floor. Checker plate is going to cost me £50ish (in North London) but isn't really what I want.
I found this but it's nowhere near the midlands/london:

Does anyone know how to find a supplier for this somewhere near south midlands?

Have you tried one of the canal boatyards near you? Resin coated ply is often used for decking.

i used to get it for free as a friend took it out of brand new vans that were being converted to refridgerated vans. so if you have a van converting company near you, try them. its a very long shot but a cheap one!

any tip like that is always worth following up! Thanks.

For one of the future building project in the pipeline I'm getting insulation from a firm that replaces walk in fridges. The walls are steel skinned insulation and they can't re-use it, so it goes for a fraction of what it would cost.

Theres Harrow Trailers in Watford, and I guess most trailer places could get it for you. Not cheap though
