From me or us ("the wishor") to you ("hereinafter called the wishee")

Please accept without obligation or liability, express or implied, our
best wishes for an environmentally conscious, socially responsible,

celebration of the winter solstice holiday, practiced within the most
enjoyable traditions of the religious persuasion of your choice, or
secular practices of your choice, with respect for the religious/secular
persuasions and/or traditions of others, or your or their choice not to
practice religious or secular traditions at all... and a financially
successful, personally fulfilling and medically uncomplicated
recognition of the onset of the generally accepted calendar year 2010,
but with due respect for the calendars of choice of other cultures or
sects, and having regard to the race, creed, colour, age, physical
ability, religious faith, choice of computer platform or dietary
preference of the wishee.

By accepting this greeting you are bound by the following terms and
conditions or such other terms and conditions as the wishor may impose
from time to time:

1. This greeting is subject to further clarification or withdrawal.

or correspondents provided that the proprietary rights of the wishor are
acknowledged.
3. This greeting implies no promise by the wishor to actually implement
any of the wishes.
4. This greeting is expected but not warranted to perform as reasonably
as may be expected within the usual application of good tidings, for a
period of one year or until the issuance of a subsequent holiday
greeting, or until withdrawn by the wishor whichever comes first.
5. The making of any statement in this wish does not infer or imply or
give any warranty or guarantee of the wishors authority to make any such
statement.
6. The wishor accepts no liability for any injury or harm, physical,
mental or otherwise to the wishee caused by or in any way resulting from
the wishee reading this greeting or in any way having it communicated to
him in any permanent or temporary format.
7. Any references in this greeting to "the Lord," "Father Christmas,"
"Our Saviour," or any other person or festive figure, whether actual or
fictitious, dead or alive, shall not imply any endorsement by or from
such person or festive figure in respect of this greeting, and all
proprietary rights in any referenced third party names and images are
hereby acknowledged.
8. The wishors do not admit or deny the existence of any person or
festive figure referred to in the preceding clause, and any similarity
to any other real or corporate person or festive figure is coincidental
and shall not give rise to any legal proceedings.

I think I am developing a thing for Metros - very few nice ones on the road, the styling suddenly looks crisp and neat, and they seem to be overlooked compared to 205s, Golfs, Fiestas etc from the time. Guy on Ebay wants £2500 for a 3000-miler, seems a bit steep to me even for one so box-fresh (theres also a nice-looking 31k car on for £895) but maybe their time is coming.
