Shockers

Post by Tweedy »

Hi All
Got a small leak coming from the front shocker on the drivers side, it is coming from around the big bolt at the bottom nearest the engine, can you get seals for them or will it mean a new shocker.
Thanks
Bob

The usual place for leaks is from between the arm and the body which is not DIY repairable but will be accepted as an exchange unit.

You should be able to take that off - and find a seal for it. Hint - Poundland sell a very handy box of seals - all sizes/shapes/materials. You may get something in there. Maybe it just needs a wee tighten ?
