I am thinking of putting a m.o.t and selling my 1954 morris minor series II next year because i would like a trafalgar blue traveller or a trafalgar blue 2 door saloon.
Just thought i would share this with all of you

Hi Josh, This seems a shame after all of your work restoring this Morris. Why not enjoy this one for a while at least? Personally I prefer a saloon although the traveller has advantages of easy loading

to be honest i am tied between my morris now a traveller as my grandad likes them or a 2 door saloon which i used to have but i cant fit in my car as i am 6 foot 2 and because i have long legs when i get in i carnt get back out where as a traveller or 2 door i can get in and out easy

I see your problem and I think 4 doors do have a narrower door opening. Is there any way of using a Minor or other period drivers seat that will adjust for your legs and to ease getting in/out, just might mean you can't take any back seat pasengers.

Same here, tall, but I must admit I find the 2 door a comfortable drive.

As a Classic car - the Traveller wins, but - if I was using the car as my daily transport in all weathers - it would have to be a 2 door.

As a daily driver, out in all weathers I'd go for the saloon.
I also have a problem getting in and out of 4 door saloons - the problem is that I have the seat further back to be comfortable when driving, and the b-post is then even more 'in the way'.
In my pickup, the driving position is a bit cramped, but at least with the seat more forwards, I tend to bash my back less often on the B-post.

Im 6ft 1 and have owned several 4 doors but you do have a lot more room to get out of a 2 door. My mate whos 6ft 4 moved the seat to the back set of bolts, drilled new holes and made up strengthening plates to give himself more leg room.
Keep your series 11 for a while and get some use out of it after all the effort youve put in!!

Get whatever takes your fancy Josh there are quite a few on here that change their cars regularly, I have been accused of it in the past but my excuse was that I needed a different colour to see if it drove any different

from the other colours.
Its finding the good uns that takes the time as I am sure you know.
