Wheel stains

Hi all

What do people think is the best product for removing stubborn black stains from white stove enamel wheels? Is Autoglym Clean Wheels suitable, or might it damage the white paint? Also, should I be using Autoglym Super Resin Polish on the wheels when I put it on the rest of the car?

This is not an Autoglym product placement! :) Honest!

Hi Jamesy don't laugh but you would be amazed at what WD40 can shift even though it's not actually designed as a cleaner, its worth a try.

Thanks. I thought the Clean Wheels thing might be too abrasive (I read the label in the shop: it didn't mention painted wheels). WD40 is worth a shot; is there anything it doesn't do?! (Probably not great with gin...)
